From another era	من زمن آخَر
I apply my stethoscope	أضعُ سمّاعتي
To the heart of a world	على قلب عالم
That does not hear me	لا يسمعني

And whenever	وكلّما
Rocks break up	كَسّرَ الصّخرُ
My flow	مَدّي
I offer it to the sand	وهبتُه للرّمال

So, blow over	فاعصف
The remaining	بما تبقّى
Debris of branches	من بقايا غصون
That I consecrated	أنذرتُها

To nothingness	للهباء

I will drink the toast of the storm	سأشرب نخب العاصفة
That I may perhaps	علَّني
Die	أقضي نَحبي

Of a love	بجرعة حبِّ
Overdose	زائدة
